The Resonance Conch

A shell washed up from some warmer ocean, spiral chamber, nest at the crown, sound moving through the weave.

The shell that named the collective

Before the Tree, there was the Conch, the drawing that started everything and the shell in our logo. Visitors enter through the wave-mouth, spiral up a bamboo ramp inside the chamber, and emerge into a woven nest above the crowd.

The design is resolved to dimensioned drawings: bundled three-pole shell ribs, a split-bamboo lattice skin, a reciprocal interior tower carrying the ramp. It's ready for engineering development against a real site, yours, if you want to give it a first home.

  • Chamber: walk-in spiral with interior ramp to the nest
  • Structure: 10 cm bundled shell ribs, steel-strapped; 20 cm reciprocal tower poles
  • Skin: split-bamboo lattice, lantern fields at the approach
  • Status: dimensioned design; seeking its first commission

Give the Conch its first home

Festival, sculpture garden, resort, private land, the shell is designed and waiting for a site to grow on.
