What: The Resonance Tree — a climbable bamboo tree structure with a canopy of solar-powered lanterns that respond to live sound
Premiere: Burning Man 2026, Black Rock City, Nevada (late August)
Material: Full-culm structural bamboo; prefabricated by hand in Bali; raised by a volunteer crew
Engineering: Designed to ISO 22156:2021 by a Chartered Structural Engineer; 90 mph design wind, Exposure C
Mobility: Demounts into a single 26′ box truck; travels, rents, and re-raises
Studio: Resonance Studio — the design-build practice of the Resonance Art Collective (Nevada City, CA); fiscally sponsored by 18th Street Arts Center
Next: The Resonance Conch — a walk-in spiral shell, designed and seeking its first commission
