About this piece
Sawn and split from full culms, then heat-formed over an open flame into the curves a structure needs: single-split supports, double-split structural arches, and gridshell laths. Every arch limb is bent, faired, and matched to its place, then treated and bundled for shipment.
This is where straight bamboo becomes architecture. Preformed in the shop, the arches arrive ready to assemble on site as gateways, canopies, or the ribs of a gridshell.
